Premier League Team of the Week: Man City, Liverpool & Tottenham stars included - gallery

Despite netting a hat-trick at the weekend, Erling Haaland wasn’t included in the Premier League Team of the Week.

Manchester City put in another superb performance on Saturday, which helped the champions maintain their 100 percent start to the Premier League season.

Goals from Julian Alvarez and Nathan Ake meant the Blues lead at the break, before Erling Haaland scored a second-half hat-trick to wrap up a 5-1 win at the Etihad. It means City head into the international break top of the table after four matches.

But there are four sides in the division who trail Pep Guardiola’s side by just two points. It’s Tottenham Hotspur who are currently second, and they continued their superb start under Ange Postecoglou by beating Burnley 5-2 at Turf Moor, moving their goals tally up to 11 after four outings.

Liverpool are third and beat Aston Villa 3-0 on Sunday, with Dominik Szoboszlai scoring his first goal for the Reds. West Ham United are also on 10 points after they spoiled Luton Town’s Premier League party on Friday night, courtesy of a 2-1 win for the Hammers at Kenilworth Road.

Arsenal ended the weekend in style as injury-time goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus saw them overcome Manchester United at the Emirates, meaning the Gunners are the final team on 10 points.

Brighton & Hove Albion also had a good weekend, with a 3-0 victory against Newcastle United, while Crystal Palace beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 on Sunday. At the bottom, a 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane ensured Sheffield United and Everton collected their first points of the campaign.
