Pep Guardiola has joked about ‘fining’ Manchester City trio Kyle Walker, Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish after they went on a night out - and didn’t invite him.

The Sky Blues boss was asked about a video circulating online, where claims were made that Grealish was turned away from a bar for being too drunk - something the club has proven not to be true.

City say no action will be taken against the trio as they have not broken any rules, while the scenario at the bar was explained as a misunderstanding between the three players and staff, leading to them exiting the venue.

Guardiola was asked about the video in his latest press conference on Tuesday and said the following: "I’m so upset because they didn’t invite me! The video didn’t show what did or didn’t happen.

"All of them were perfect, but they will be fined because they didn’t invite me."

The reason no club rules were broken was due to the recording being taken after the Sky Blues’ 4-1 FA Cup win over Fulham on Saturday, in which Mahrez scored twice.

City now prepare to face Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday evening and look to extend their 13 game unbeaten run in the top-flight.

Guardiola’s side will go 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League with a win against the Bees until at least Thursday, dependent on Liverpool’s result at home to Leicester City that day.
