‘Outrageous’ - Watch hilarious Man City and Liverpool prediction that is going viral after what Haaland did.

Manchester City summer recruit Erling Haaland has adapted to life in the Premier League with ease.

The Norway international, 22, has scored goals wherever he has been so far in his career and is already breaking records with Pep Guardiola’s side.

He has scored 17 goals in his opening eight games in all competitions, with 11 in his first eight Premier League outings.

The striker scored a hat-trick in the derby against Manchester United over the weekend to help his new club win 6-3 against their rivals.

However, not everybody thought he was going to be a hit. YouTuber Rory Jennings (see tweet below) said on Sky Sports’ Saturday Social that Haaland wouldn’t live up to ‘the expectation’ before a ball was kicked and thought the likes of Liverpool’s Mo Salah or Tottenham Hotspur pair Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son would do better, much to the disbelief of fellow YouTuber Thogden beside him.

He said: “Erling Haaland will not live up to the expectation. I am so bored. He isn’t the player that everybody thinks he is. People are saying that he is going to win the Golden Boot, that is outrageous.

“It is so disrespectful to the establishment. The Mo Salah’s of the World, the Harry Kane’s of the word, the Heung-Min Son’s of the world.

“To turn up to a new league and win the Golden Boot, that would be a ridiculous achievement. He’s wasteful in front of goal at times, his build up play isn’t good enough at the moment to play in a City team. If he scores 15 it will be a really good season for him.”

City’s decision to land Haaland from Borussia Dortmund could become one of their best pieces of transfer business ever if he continues scoring at the rate he is doing.

Their win over United has left them 2nd in the table behind Arsenal by a single point. They return to the action this Wednesday at home to FC Copenhagen in the Champions League, followed by a league clash against Southampton this weekend.
