Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has issued fresh injury hope for his side ahead of their clash with Manchester City on Sunday. The Gunners and City face off at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday in a crunch clash at the top of the table.

Just one point separates the two sides heading into this final stretch, with all of the international breaks now in the rear-view mirror. Neither team will feel as though they can afford to lose here, with Arsenal having a tough run-in, while defeat for City would mean they fall four points behind Arsenal and likely Liverpool.

Ahead of this one, City have lost two key players to injury in Kyle Walker and John Stones, with both picking up issues on international duty, but Arsenal have some issues of their own. Gabriel Magalhaes, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have all been struggling with injury issues.

Ahead of Sunday's clash, Arsenal boss Arteta has issued an update, and he says there is 'a chance' all three could return. "Yeah there is a chance," he said in his pre-match press conference. "They haven’t trained. Tomorrow we have another session, but there is a chance they can be available."

With international breaks often aggravating club managers, especially at this critical point in the season, Arteta also answered a question about whether the calendar should be reshaped. He responded: "I think that in general the whole calendar has to be looked at because there are a lot of games. It doesn't look like we’re going to be able to affect it."
