Manchester City return to Premier League action when they welcome Crystal Palace to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The match marks the club’s last league fixture before the start of the Club World Cup tournament and the Citizens will hope to use it as the perfect opportunity to pile pressure on league leaders Liverpool just a day before their showdown with Manchester United.
The Citizens have shown mixed form in recent weeks with a defeat against Aston Villa and draws against Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham. But last week’s game against Luton Town saw them return to winning ways and they will hope to build on that result against Crystal Palace.
