For the Sky Blues, Ederson returns in nets, while it looks like Joao Cancelo will start at right-back, with Laporte on the opposite wing. In the heart of defence, it’s Dias and John Stones.

Ahead of them, Rodri and Silva are joined in midfield by Kevin De Bruyne and up front it’s Riyad Mahrez, Sterling ans Phil Foden in an attacking three.

As for the Bees, Ivan Toney is missing with a niggle, while Thomas Franck has opted to start without Bryan Mbeumo, who is on the bench.

The visitors head into the game in 14th place and are seven points ahead of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, City can strengthen their lead at the top of the table to 12 points, although they will have played two games more than Liverpool by the end of the night.
