Manchester City predicted line-up v Arsenal: Two changes amid Kevin De Bruyne injury concern - gallery

There are three selection uncertainties ahead of the top-of-the-table encounter.

Manchester City will hope Kevin De Bruyne is fit to face Arsenal on Sunday in the Premier League.

The Belgian was replaced at half-time in the midweek draw against Inter Milan on Wednesday due to injury, and Pep Guardiola said on Friday that he could be back in time to face the Gunners this weekend.

If the midfielder does miss out, there are several options for Guardiola, the most obvious being the inclusion of Phil Foden in an attacking midfield role. The 24-year-old has not started a game this season but Guardiola said on Friday that he is ready to play 90 minutes again after featuring from the bench on Wednesday.

Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, Mateo Kovacic, Rico Lewis Rodri are also options in the centre for what is expected to be a tight affair at the Etihad.

Meanwhile, there are two other selection uncertainties heading into the game. Firstly, will Lewis continue at right-back or be replaced by the experienced Kyle Walker? It’s a decision that will tell us plenty about Guardiola’s approach to the game, whether he wants to control the centre or counter Arsenal’s attacking threat.

Further up the field, who will start on the wings? Jack Grealish has played the last three games and could retain his place, while Savinho, Jeremy Doku and possibly Silva are also options.

With all that in mind, here’s how we think the champions will set up on Sunday...
