Manchester City and Manchester United meet for the 50th Manchester derby in the Premier League this weekend.
It’s a contest that could prove hugely significant in the title fight and the race for the top four, with both clubs nervously looking over their shoulders at the chasing pack.
Sunday’s host warmed up for the clash by beating Peterborough United 2-0 in midweek to advance to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Goals from Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish ensured it was a relatively comfortable end to proceedings after a difficult opening 45 minutes at London Road.
Pep Guardiola managed to rest several key men for the match, including Kyle Walker, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling.
However, the Sky Blues did suffer two injury concerns and were forced into a double half-time alteration.
As for United, they were last in action on Saturday, meaning they have had eight days to prepare for the derby.
The Red Devils only have two real injury concerns heading into the game, and could travel to the Etihad with a nearly full roster to select from.
It’s also the first time Ralf Rangnick will face City since taking the reins at Old Trafford, and will provide the first meeting between Guardiola and the German interim manager.
Here’s the full list of injuries and recent returns from both clubs ahead of the game…
