Man Utd and Man City's new predicted finishes after Everton and Liverpool clashes

Manchester United and Manchester City both collected points this weekend as they look to achieve their goals in the Premier League.

United are hoping to make a successful bid to return to the Champions League and they move to within eight points of the top four as Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes penalties helped their side to a 2-0 home win against struggling Everton.

The other Merseyside v Manchester clash topped the bill over the weekend as title rivals Liverpool and City went head-to-head at Anfield in what is likely to be the final time Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola will meet as Premier League managers.

Predictably, the points were shared as a second-half penalty from Reds midfielder Alexis Mac Allister cancelled out a John Stones goal and ensured it is Arsenal that top the Premier League table at the end of the weekend.
