Guardiola led City to another Premier League title last season, amassing 93 points on the way and developing a unique striker-less system. City also made it to the semi-finals of the FA Cup and Champions League.

As for Liverpool, they claimed the FA Cup and EFL Cup, while losing out on the Premier League title on the final day of the season and were beaten finalists in the Champions League.

Also nominated for the Manager of the Year award are Stockport County boss Dave Challinor and Leam Richardson of Wigan Athletic. Liverpool actually have two nominees in this category, with Matt Beard - manager of Liverpool Women - also included.
