Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte both head into Thursday’s Premier League clash between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur with a relatively clean bill of health.

In fact, the City manager has a fully fit squad for the first time this season, with John Stones and Ruben Dias fit again after respective injuries. The former has missed the last two with a niggle, while Dias hasn’t played at club level since the World Cup due a hamstring injury.

After both were spotted in training on Tuesday, Guardiola confirmed ahead of the clash with Spurs that the pair are available again. “They are back, the last two training sessions they trained. Both [are] in contention,” he said in his pre-match press conference.

While Stones and Dias trained on Tuesday, Kevin De Bruyne was a surprising absentee from the session. But Guardiola confirmed the Belgian is fit to take on Spurs and said De Bruyne missed training due to a ‘personal issue’.

Elsewhere, Conte also has a plethora of options for the trip to the Etihad. Richarlison and Yves Bissouma returned in Sunday’s loss to Arsenal and came off the bench, with Rodrigo Bentancur missing the game through injury.

But Conte confirmed in the build-up to Thursday’s match that the Uruguayan is back in training and could feature against City. “Like I said after the game against Arsenal, we have Rodrigo Bentancur training with us – he is available and he could be available for the game against City,” said the former Chelsea manager.

Conte also gave an update on Bissouma’s recent injury issues and said he is ready to start at the Etihad. “Bissouma had a training session, he trained the whole session and I think that he has recovered in the last few days.”

It means Lucas Moura is the only player injured between both squads, with the winger struggling with a long-term tendon issue.

Returning: Stones, Dias (City); Bentancur (Tottenham)

Ruled out: Moura (Tottenham)
