In midfield, Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne have been selected, with Mateo Kovacic dropping to the bench. Jack Grealish out is out through injury so, Doku and Foden come into the side alongside Erling Haaland. Josko Gvardiola returns on the bench for City after missing the last four due to a knee problem.

As for Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes is expected to play at right wing, with Scott McToiminay retaining his place in midfield. Jonny Evans has been named at the heart of defence alongside Raphael Varane.

That means Victor Lindelof is expected to play at left-back, with Diogo Dalot on the other side, and Andre Onana in nets. Midfield looks like a trio of Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo and McTominay. Fernandes could play on the right, as he did in last season's derby win at Old Trafford, with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho also selected up front at the Etihad.
