Man City trophy parade in pictures - the best images from the treble bus parade

Check out these images of Manchester City treble open-top bus celebrations in Manchester.

Manchester City’s open-top bus tour through the streets of Manchester took place on Monday to celebrate the team’s historic treble.

Two days on from that Champions League triumph in Istanbul and the players were back in England and still in party mode. Jack Grealish was among the first-team stars leading the celebrations in Turkey and that continued during the trophy parade.

The parade was significantly impacted by the Manchester weather, which quite literally rained on City’s parade, but few fans among the tens of thousands who lined the streets cared.

Ahead of the parade, the City players made their way to the startpoint in a typically Manchester way - via the tram!

The open-top bus tour did have to be delayed by 30 minutes due to the adverse weather conditions but, when it got under way, the journey began at Tonman Street, Deansgate, at just after 7pm on an incredibly humid evening. City’s team bus snaked its way through the streets of Manchester, which were lined with adoring City supporters.

After City’s TV presenters kept the crowd entertained for just over an hour, the players and staff finally made their way to the stage on Oxford Road at around 8:15pm and they proudly held aloft the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League trophies in front of the fans and world media.

The supporters went through their full repertoire of songs as fireworks and a confetti went off.

We’ve selected some of the best photos from the event, as City fans partied like it was 2023…
