Man City predicted XI v Everton: Guardiola to rotate with four changes from Brentford - gallery

Manchester City have a fully fit squad and a busy fixture schedule, so Guardiola could rotate on Saturday.

Manchester City will aim to make it six Premier League wins in a row when they host Everton on Saturday.

The champions moved into second place with a 3-1 victory at Brentford on Monday and, while City haven’t been convincing at the back of late, their ruthless attacking options are seeing them comfortably win matches at present.

That was the case when Pep Guardiola’s side last played Everton, with three second-half goals overturning Jack Harrison’s 29th-minute opener. That stretched the Cityzens’ unbeaten streak against Everton to 14 games, with 12 wins in that run.

The Toffees are currently languishing in the relegation zone and are without a win in six league games, so free-scoring City are heavy favourites for this weekend’s clash.

Guardiola lined up with an offensive front five of Kevin De Bruyne, Julian Alvarez, Bernardo Silva, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden against Brentford, with the latter netting a second career hat-trick in the 3-1 win.

But with a busy fixture schedule in February, and a fully fit squad at his disposal, Guardiola could look to rotate on Saturday. City face six games in 19 days against Everton, Copenhagen, Chelsea, Brentford, Bournemouth and Luton Town before the end of the month.

Rico Lewis, Manuel Akanji, John Stones, Matheus Nunes and Jack Grealish were all unused substitutes against Brentford and are options to return, while Mateo Kovacic and Jeremy Doku came off the bench in the second half.

We’re tipping City to make four changes when they face Everton, and here’s how they could line up…
