Man City player ratings so far this season: Scores range from ‘unbelievable’ 10/10 to 2/10 - gallery

We’ve given every Manchester City player a score out of 10 for the season so far.

Manchester City’s form has been questioned at times this season, with Pep’s Guardiola’s men adapting from a striker-less system to one that now revolves around Erling Haaland. However, City could still end the campaign with a treble.

The Blues did crash out of the Carabao Cup in surprising circumstances when they lost to Southampton in the quarter-finals, but City are still going strong in the FA Cup and Champions League. In the latter, City will face Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals next month, while they face a potential semi-final against either Chelsea or Real Madrid. Although that may seem a tricky assignment, City are still favourites to win the trophy for a first time, with Haaland’s goals perhaps proving to be the difference this time around.

The FA Cup poses a less daunting prospect for the Premier League champions, who face Sheffield United in the semi-finals at Wembley, and will either play Manchester United or Brighton & Hove Albion in the final, presuming City can beat the Blades.

As for the Premier League, it will require a huge final push to overcome an Arsenal side who have put together a run of six consecutive wins. City are eight points behind the Gunners but do have a game in hand. Mikel Arteta will also bring his side to the Etihad on 26 April in a game that is looking more and more like a ‘must-win’ if the Premier League crown is to remain in Manchester for another year.

With the international break putting a brief pause on the season, we’ve been reflecting on City’s campaign to date and who has impressed. In the below list, we’ve given every player who has played two more games a score out of 10 for their contribution to the season so far.
