Manchester City could have several players missing for their FA Cup semi-final clash with Liverpool on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola has admitted his side are in ‘big trouble’ following their physical game with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening, which saw the Sky Blues progress to the last-four of the Champions League.
The Catalan spoke to BT Sport following his team’s 0-0 draw with Atletico and expressed his concern about player availability for their FA Cup fixtur
“We are in big trouble,” Guardiola said.
“So we can’t forget we played three days ago, travelled, come here, have a lot of injuries now and I don’t know what will happen in the next weeks.”
City will take on Real Madrid in the semi-final of the competition, with the first-leg of their tie at the Etihad Stadium on April 26, before their return fixture at the Bernabeu on May 4.
However, their attention turns to the FA Cup this weekend, a trophy the Sky Blues have lifted six times.
With that being said, let’s take a look at the five players Guardiola could be without on Saturday.
