Man City are heading into the summer with a focus on the Club World Cup, but they also will need to ensure that they sign the right players before the start of the next season in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola will need to find a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, who is leaving this summer, and so have been linked to several world-class midfielders; they will have big shoes to fill after De Bruyne’s departure.
City won four Premier League titles in a row but were off the pace this season as they finished well behind leaders Liverpool. Guardiola’s side bounced back in style the last time the Reds were crowned champions with their victory in 2020-21 the first of their record-breaking run of four titles.
Let’s take a look at who have City been linked to, and how could their starting line-up look next season if the most recent transfer rumours are true...?
