Champions League-chasing Manchester City kickstart an action-packed weekend of Premier League action with a home clash against a much-improved Crystal Palace side who are unbeaten in their last five top-flight matches while also reaching the semi-final of the FA Cup.
City enter the weekend in sixth position and are just one point away from climbing back into the Champions League places with Chelsea facing Ipswich and Newcastle playing host to Manchester United.
A top five spot is guaranteed to be enough to secure Champions League qualification this term which is the bare minimum that the Sky Blues will look to achieve this season after a disappointing title defence.
Pep Guardiola’s men struggled without Erling Haaland in a lacklustre 0-0 draw in the Manchester derby last weekend and will hope to give their fans much more to shout about this time around.
Ahead of what promises to be a crucial game in the landscape of this year’s European race, we round-up the latest injury news from inside both camps as a total of nine players miss out.
