Mahamadou Susoho has revealed he hopes his loan switch to Peterborough United will take him out of his ‘comfort zone’.
The midfielder, who played all four pre-season games for Manchester City this summer, will spend the 2024/25 campaign on loan at London Road and will gain his first experience of regular senior football.

Hide AdSusoho has played one competitive match for Pep Guardiola’s side but was named on the bench 12 times last season. It’s hoped the experience will help continue his development ahead of a return to City next summer.
"I want to get out of my comfort zone and I feel this loan move will allow me to do that,” the 19-year-old told Peterborough’s website.
"I would describe myself as good in possession, calm and someone who can help the defence and the attack. I really enjoyed the tour in America with City and now I am looking forward to this loan move."
The Posh begin their League One season at home to Huddersfield Town on Saturday. The club have proved to be a popular destination for loan signings, with City youngster Jadel Katongo spending the 2023/24 campaign at Peterborough and helped Darren Ferguson’s side secure the EFL Trophy and a fourth-place finish.

“I am delighted to get him. It was tied up a while ago, but we were just waiting on Manchester City in terms of the dates. He was either going to join us or go on tour with City and that is what he did.”
