Manchester City will be hoping to boost their chances of retaining the Premier League title, as they face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon. It is the first time the Cityzens have faced the Reds since the Community Shield back in July - when Jurgen Klopp’s side went home with the trophy.
Liverpool haven’t exactly been the same since then, though, as their start to the season has been one of their worst in years. Winning just two of the opening eight league fixtures this term, fans have been incredibly disappointed with their form.

City will likely look at Liverpool’s recent form in glee - as it is arguably the best time to take on what would usually be one of the toughest games of the campaign.
City remain unbeaten after nine matches played and are just one point away from Mikel Arteta’s high-flying Gunners at the summit of the table. Despite being held to a 0-0 draw at Copenhagen midweek - a game in which defender Sergi Gomez was sent off - Pep Guardiola’s side thrashed Southampton 4-0 in their last league fixture.
The Cityzens will be brimming with confidence as they head to Anfield - and there is a further boost as Klopp will have to make do without a whole host of injured players, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz, Naby Keita and Curtis Jones all ruled out. Here’s how to watch one of the most anticipated clashes of the season live on TV.
