Liverpool striker among 10 missing from training ahead of Man City clash
Liverpool striker Jayden Danns was absent from training ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash against Sparta Prague.
The 18-year-old has played in the Reds’ last four games and netted a brace in last week’s 3-0 FA Cup victory over Southampton. But he is a doubt for the midweek European tie and Sunday’s top-of-the-table encounter between Liverpool and Manchester City.

But Liverpool’s injury crisis could help City on Sunday, with 10 players missing from Wednesday’s training session at their Kirkby base - as per LiverpoolWorld. Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago, Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones and Ben Doak are set to miss this weekend’s game and weren’t involved in training, while Diogo Jota is a doubt as he continues to recover from an knee issue.
However, Mohamed Salah was spotted among the group in training and could be involved this weekend. The winger has missed six of the last seven league matches through injury but has been stepping up his recovery in recent weeks.
Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez returned for last weekend’s win over Nottingham Forest and were also involved in the session on Wednesday.

Jack Grealish is the only City player ruled out indefinitely and he is not expected to feature again this month after picking up a groin injury in last week’s FA Cup win over Luton Town.
