“Man City just opened them up for fun. May as well have been a tin opener.” Those were the words of one overjoyed Manchester City fan on Sunday evening, following his side’s 4-1 victory over Manchester United.
The champions increased their gap over Liverpool to six points at the top of the Premier League table with a convincing win in the Manchester derby.

But the Red Devils could keep it level for long, with De Bruyne scoring again before the break, and in the second period City dominated.
Pep Guardiola’s men took control in terms of possession and shots, with United did not managing a single effort after the break.
So it was no surprise City’s fans were delighted when they were streaming out of the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
