Key Man City duo fit to start plus two doubts and four out for Brentford in Premier League - gallery

Manchester City head to the Gtech Community Stadium on Monday with Pep Guardiola looking to close the gap on Liverpool.

Manchester City have to wait until Monday for their next game with Pep Guardiola's side heading to Brentford. The Blues will have a chance to gain on at least one of their two Premier League title rivals, with Arsenal hosting Liverpool on Sunday.

City cruised past Burnley on Wednesday with Julian Alvarez netting twice and Rodri also scoring in a 3-1 win at the Etihad. Kevin De Bruyne enjoyed his first start since the reverse fixture at Turf Moor in the opening day of the season while Erling Haaland also returned from the bench and got 20 minutes under his belt.

It's a relatively short five-day turnaround for the Blues but they look to have come through the game unscathed. Guardiola gave an update on some key injury news in his Friday press conference and you can see the latest news from both sides below.
