Pep Guardiola labelled Fulham’s Adama Traore as ‘unstoppable’ after Saturday's Premier League game against Manchester City.
The champions emerged with a 3-2 win from a difficult encounter at the Etihad thanks to a Mateo Kovacic brace and Jeremy Doku’s late strike from distance. But it could have been a very different story had Traore managed to convert any of his three clear-cut chances during the match.

Traore has been the scourge of City in the past - especially in his Wolverhampton Wanderers days - and Guardiola had a long chat after the final whistle with the former Barcelona star, a player who he later claimed is impossible to stop when he gets in full flight.
“My feeling is the game was well played. The chances created, especially with Adama, was because he is unstoppable,” opined Guardiola. “No player can control when he has the ball and makes the first one or two touches and starts to run, you are going to defend in the 18-yard box. It is impossible to control him.
“It think in the first half it was well played, but we missed one or two transitions. Against Eddy, I always had the feeling of ‘oh my god, what chances they had’. But the game was well played.”
