It has been a busy summer at Man City as Pep Guardiola aims to rebuild his side and challenge for the Premier League title next season. The Blues showed signs of what is to come during their Club World Cup campaign earlier in the summer and have a friendly clash against Palermo on the horizon ahead of their season opener against Wolves.
Guardiola will no doubt make plenty of changes to his starting line up during the opening weeks of the campaign and tailor his squad to exploit the weaknesses of each opponent they face. It means several stars should get a chance to showcase their talents before a bumper September in which they face Manchester United and Arsenal in quick succession.
City will need to be at their best if they are to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title, and here is a look at what their strongest line up could be next season.
