“Ilkay Gundogan back to Manchester City, here we go! Deal in place with German midfielder to join on contract valid until June 2025,” the transfer specialist wrote on X.
“Agreement reached after positive talks in last 48h and Pep Guardiola said yes, as revealed yesterday. Gündogan will leave Barça for FREE.”
Meanwhile, The Athletic claim Gundogan has signed a one-year contract at City, with the option of an additional 12 months. “In order to facilitate the move, Gundogan is forgoing the remaining two years of salary he would be owed by Barcelona,” the outlet add.
