Manchester City are already preparing for one of the biggest games of their season, facing Arsenal on the other side of the international break. Early preparations will already be going on this week, while the bulk of them will take place when many of the key stars return from international duty next week.
Both City and Arsenal will be praying there are no injury setbacks during the break, and the Gunners have already seen one player pick up an injury during international training. Way ahead of the clash at the Etihad Stadium on March 31, we have rounded up the early injury news surrounding both clubs.
1. Gabriel Martinelli - Fit
Martinelli was a doubt with a foot injury but he has been involved with Brazil during the break.
2. Jurrien Timber - Doubt
Timber is nearing a return after a serious knee injury. He will be back in contention at some point in the next couple of weeks, but Arsenal will be understandably cautious.
3. Bukayo Saka - Doubt
Saka pulled out of the England squad with a 'minor muscular' injury.
4. Ederson - Doubt
City will assess Ederson over the break, as confirmed by Guardiola.
