A delirious Jack Grealish celebrated Manchester City booking a place in the Champions League final against Real Madrid last night with an iconic CBS interview.

The midfielder was still in a state of jubilation as he went over to greet Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards, Thierry Henry and Kate Abdo for a short interview.

Grealish embraced Carragher as Richards danced with defender Kyle Walker in the background and Henry congratulated Phil Foden. As his teammates left, Grealish stayed around to reflect on the 4-0 win.

Caught up in the emotion of the victory and struggling to find his words, the star said: "So good, man. I didn't know what to think today with the game, the talent and experience they've got on the pitch.

"I certainly didn't expect 4-0. I said in the last interview, it's a bit emotional from where I've come from to be playing the Champions League final. I'm a bit speechless I don't know what to say!"

Grealish then spotted his City teammates on the pitch and made moves to leave the bright lights of the cameras and rejoin celebrations but had time to thank Jamie Carragher for a previous piece of punditry on his way.

Grealish said: "Right, I've got to go over to the team. Cheers for putting me in your team of the year."

The Manchester City man was alluding to a segment where Carragher and Gary Neville picked their combined Man United 99' and Man City 23' teams for SkySports.

The ex-Manchester United man didn't include a single City player in his side, but Carragher's was a more realistic approach which featured Grealish amongst others.

Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland all also made the cut in the pundit's XI.

Another added: “The most wholesome player. Couldn’t love him more.”
