Gundogan has played 15 games for City’s this season and remains an important player for the Premier League champions, albeit he is not a guaranteed starter.
As per journalist Matthew Moretto, the 32-year-old is ‘highly appreciated’ by Pep Guardiola and Gundogan’s agent has ‘already started talks’ about potentially extending his stay at the Etihad. The Italian reporter adds Gundogan won’t make a decision on his future until after the World Cup, although there has already been communication with Bayern about a possible move.
90min also report Bayern ‘are tempted to offer him a route back to Germany’ and a move back to the Bundesliga could tempt the former Borussia Dortmund man.

Gundogan, who was Guardiola’s first signing since taking over at City, has played 268 games for the Premier League champions and has netted 51 times. It was his late winner against Aston Villa that handed City the title on the final day of last season, the fourth he has won in England.
