Manchester City completed a historic treble on Saturday evening after winning the Champions League final.
Pep Guardiola’s men were made to work for it in Istanbul against an Inter Milan side who pressed excellently for large spells. But Rodri’s fine second-half finish broke the deadlock, and with the help of Ederson, the Blues managed to squeak out the history-making win.
It was a memorable night for City fans, who saw their team become only the second English side to win the treble, following on from Manchester United back in 1999. There were tens of thousands of City fans in Istanbul for the occasion, with a huge Sky Blue backing in the stadium itself, as well as thousands in bars and fan zones around the city.
