Manchester City have started their title defence in style, winning four of their opening six Premier League games and drawing two.

The Sky Blues sit second in the table, one point behind league leaders Arsenal,going into their Champions League group stage opener against Sevilla on Tuesday.

Pep Guardiola made several big signings during the summer transfer window, including Kalvin Phillips and Erling Haaland.

The latter has been in fine form so far this campaign and sit top of the Premier League scoring chart with 10 goals.

Haaland and his teammates have shown real intent this season and will be looking to replicate cross-town rivals Manchester United in winning three consecutive titles come the end of the campaign.

The Argentine is expected to be Haaland’s understudy this season, but has impressed when called upon this campaign, scoring two goals in four appearances and having a pass accuracy of 94% per game.

The versatile full-back will be happy with his performances in the league so far, scoring once and helping City concede just once in their last two games.

Remained at the club despite rumours of a move to Barcelona, but he hasn’t let speculation affect his performances so far, finding the back twice and assisting his teammates on the same number of occasions.

Has missed the last few games through injury but was named on the bench in City’s 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday, Jack Grealish has a successful dribble rate of 80% and a pass accuracy of 92% in his two appearances this season.

There’s no surprise seeing the striker top of the ratings after his prolific start to the season for City. The Norwegian has scored 10 goals and sits top of the scoring charts after the opening six games, while providing one assist.
