Throughout their career, Oasis have performed at all sorts of venues across Manchester. From the small, intimate bars in the early 1990s, to tackling stadiums and huge arenas, they’ve seen plenty of the city.
With Oasis officially returning in 2025, thoughts have turned to reflecting on the early days of the band. Also in this walk down memory lane is the last time Oasis played in Manchester. Noel and Liam Gallagher have had perhaps the most famous falling out in music history. But this seems to be behind them following this week’s announcement.
In April 2009, just months before they split up, Oasis played at Heaton Park. Fast forward 16 years, and they will be returning to this corner of Manchester once again.
