M&S Sparks members can earn £10 this Bank Holiday weekend when they spend £50 on fashion, and these new-season pieces could help you reach the threshold.

M&S shoppers have a very good reason to get their autumn wardrobe sorted this Bank Holiday weekend, with Sparks members able to earn £10 into their wallet when they spend £50 or more on fashion.

The offer runs until Monday 31 August, so there is limited time to make the most of it, but the good news is it’s valid for online purchases so you can shop via the Marks and Spencer website at a time to suit you.

The promotion could be particularly useful for anyone already planning to buy new-season clothes, whether that means a jacket for cooler mornings, a pair of jeans for everyday wear or some knitwear for when temperatures start to dip. Fashion purchases across womenswear, menswear, kidswear, lingerie, shoes, accessories and jewellery all count towards the qualifying spend, so there’s plenty to choose from.

Even better, you do not have to spend the full £50 in one go. M&S says qualifying fashion purchases can be combined across multiple transactions between August 27 and 31, both online and in store. Sparks members simply need to be signed into their Sparks account when shopping online. You can shop online now.

If you are looking for a few pieces to make the transition into autumn, this offer makes it the perfect time to shop items available from the new collection.

For those who like a bit of sparkle, there’s the Shimmer Knitted Long Sleeve Shirt from Per Una (£30). Available in sandstone or raisin, it adds a little something extra to a jeans-and-boots outfit, while its long sleeves make it an easy choice for the move towards cooler days. It’s one of those versatile pieces that can be be dressed up or dressed down and, dare I say it, could even be an early contender for something to wear at Christmas.

For an everyday wardrobe update, the Mid Rise Barrel Jeans, also £30 and available in multiple colours including washed black and indigo mix, could be worth a look as a well-fitting pair of jeans is something you’ll reach for time and time again, particularly as the weather turns. They are also offered in a wide choice of waist and leg lengths, including extra short, short/petite, regular, long and extra long.

Another versatile option is the Denim Striped Collared Relaxed Shirt (£55). Its medium indigo denim and striped design give it plenty of autumn potential, whether worn buttoned up or layered over a T-shirt.

If your autumn shopping list starts with outerwear, the Cotton Rich Funnel Neck Bomber Jacket is another option that could take you through the awkward period between summer and proper coat weather. It is also £55 and is one of the must-have on-trend items of the new season.

For a softer layer, the Ruffle Crew Neck Cardigan is £30 and comes in mid grey marl and dark khaki, and has ruffle detailing on the cuffs and hem. It’s another everyday staple for the autumn/winter months, but elevated thanks to the feminine features. Plus, it has some wool in the fabric so it’s extra soft and cosy.

Put a few of these pieces together and it is surprisingly easy to reach the £50 threshold, while gaining a new wardrobe piece to love that you’ll want to wear again and again.

There is another reason the timing could appeal to shoppers. The August Bank Holiday has traditionally been an important time for back-to-school shopping. So, this is also a great time for mums, dads and carers to get a reward for tackling one of the most testing shops of the year - the uniform shop.

Sparks members who spend the £50 on eligible items at Marks and Spencer will have the £10 added to their digital wallet after a 14-day pending period, allowing time for any returns.

So, if your autumn wardrobe needs a refresh anyway, this M&S deal could be one of those Bank Holiday offers worth taking advantage of. From £30 jeans and cardigans to a £55 jacket that can bridge the gap between seasons, there are plenty of practical ways to buy something worthwhile, get your fashion spend over £50 and have £10 waiting in your Sparks wallet afterwards.

  • Please note that delivery charges may apply. The promotion is limited to one £10 reward per eligible customer, and if a return takes the qualifying spend below £50, the reward can be removed. The offer is for existing Sparks members who were members by August 23 2026. New customers joining after that date will instead receive M&S's separate welcome offer, which gives £10 when £40 or more is spent on fashion, home and beauty in a single transaction.
