New rehearsal images have been released for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie - and it looks ready to return to Manchester next month.

The smash-hit and critically acclaimed musical launches a new 2023-24 UK Tour at The Lowry, Salford starring Coronation Street actors Hayley Tamaddon as Miss Hedge and Shobna Gulati as Ray.

Hayley, who played Andrea Beckett on the Manchester based ITV soap, will be taking on the role of Miss Hedge, the teacher of lead character Jamie New, a role that she previously performed in the West End.

She said “After being part of the West End production in 2019, I’m so excited to be joining the touring company of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. The UK audiences are in for an absolute treat!”

Hayley is best known for her roles as Del Dingle in Emmerdale and Andrea Beckett in Corrie. Hayley is best known for her roles as Del Dingle in Emmerdale and Andrea Beckett in Corrie.

Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.
