The legendary Sir Rod Stewart is to perform in Manchester as part of his worldwide tour.

The tour is to support his latest, and 31st studio album titled ‘The Tears Of Hercules’, which was released on November 12, 2021.

The album comes 53 years after his first studio album ‘An Old Raincoat Won’t Ever Let You Down’ which was released in 1969.

Here’s how to get tickets for his show in Manchester and when he is performing there.

Where is Rod Stewart performing?

Stewart is performing just one night in Manchester as part of his UK tour, playing at the iconic AO Arena on December 14, 2022.

New shows have been added to his tour due unprecedented demand for tickets to see the rocker belt out some of his most iconic songs.

The tour begins in the United States and Canada, where Stewart will perform in cities such as Hollywood, Vancouver, Phoenix, Denver and more.

Manchester is almost one of the last stops he will make on his UK leg of the tour.

Stewart will perform in Nottingham, London, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Liverpool, Birmingham and Leeds before Manchester.

How do I get tickets?

Tickets for his show in Manchester on Wednesday, December 14 are still available, despite the unprecedented demand causing the need for more UK shows to be added.

The lowest price for his show at the AO Arena is currently £64.40 per ticket, and can be purchased from Ticketmaster.

According to Ticketmaster, the best seats for the show from tickets that are either on resale or directly from Ticketmaster is section BL A row K, with the tickets for those seats being £204.15 each.

What songs can we expect to be performed?

As he is set to tour with his latest studio album (The Tears Of Hercules) expect that most of the songs from the album will be performed.

Songs on the album include One More Time, Gabriella, All My Days, Some Kind Of Wonderful, Born to Boogie (A Tribute To Marc Bolan), Kookooaramabama, I Can’t Imagine, The Tears Of Hercules, Hold On, Precious Memories, These Are My People, Touchline.

According to a press release regarding the tour says: “Rod’s 2022 shows promise to be filled with show-stopping classics and new hits in his unmissable captivating style”

This means some of his biggest hits such as Maggie May, This Old Heart of Mine, Every Beat My Heart and more may be belted out by Sir Rod.

Who is Rod Stewart?

Sir Roderick David Stewart CBE is a legend in the UK music scene, born in London on January 10, 1945.

The 77-year-old can boast one of the greatest careers of all time in his field,one which has spanned almost 60 years.

He is widely regarded as one of the greatest musicians of his era, and has sold an estimated 250 million records worldwide, making him one of the biggest selling artists ever.

In 2006, he was included in the New Year’s Honours list, and given a CBE alongside the likes of the Queen’s grand-daughter, Zara Phillips.

Ten years on in 2016, he was officially made ‘Sir Rod Stewart’ as he was knighted by Prince William at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity.

He has garnered many accolades and achievements in his career, with perhaps the most prestigious one being his induction into the rock and roll hall of fame.
