The Royal Mint has unveiled an official Game of Thrones commemorative coin collection celebrating 15 years of the hit fantasy series, with prices starting from £15.
Fifteen years after Game of Thrones first captivated millions of viewers, fans can celebrate the fantasy phenomenon with a brand new collection of official commemorative coins from The Royal Mint.
Inspired by the elemental rivalry at the heart of the series, the new collection features two striking 50p designs themed around Ice and Fire, with prices starting from just £15. Fans can browse the full Game of Thrones coin collection here.
The officially licensed range has been produced in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and is available to order now ahead of autumn 2026 delivery.
Which Game of Thrones coins are available?
Collectors can choose from several versions depending on their budget.
The entry-level Brilliant Uncirculated 50p coins cost £15 each and are available in separate Ice and Fire designs. Fans wanting something more eye-catching can opt for the colour editions, priced from £27.50, which use vivid colour printing to highlight the Night King and dragon artwork. You can see the full range on The Royal Mint's Game of Thrones collection.
For collectors looking for a premium edition, silver proof colour coins cost £92.50, while the most exclusive option is a limited-edition gold proof coin priced at £2,420, with only 100 available for each design.

Two designs inspired by the battle between Ice and Fire
Rather than featuring a single character or house, the collection celebrates one of the series' defining themes.
The Fire design showcases a dragon inspired by House Targaryen, while the Ice coin features the fearsome Night King. Both are available across multiple finishes, giving collectors the choice between affordable keepsakes and investment-quality editions.
Several versions are presented in display packaging, making them suitable as gifts for fans as well as collectors. The full collection can be viewed on The Royal Mint's website.
Why fans are expected to snap them up
Game of Thrones first aired in 2011 and quickly became one of the biggest television series ever produced, building a global fanbase that continues long after the final episode aired.
The anniversary collection marks 15 years since the fantasy drama first reached screens and is expected to appeal to both coin collectors and devoted fans of the Seven Kingdoms.
Rebecca Morgan, director of commemorative coin at The Royal Mint, said the series continues to inspire fans around the world and described the collection as a tribute to one of television's most memorable stories.
Orders are open now, with deliveries expected to begin in autumn 2026.
