Luxury hobbit property in Man Utd and Man City hotspot reduced - perfect for Victor Osimhen or Harry Kane?

Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire are rumoured to live in Bowdon and their new neighbour could be the owner of this head-turning home.

A gorgeous six-bedroom property in Cheshire property hotspot Altrincham, loved by Manchester United and Manchester City stars, has been reduced in price.

The home is being sold by Savills and boasts a spa, huge grounds, plush interiors and even a hobbit house for its next owner who can stump up the £4 million price tag.

Many homes in the Altrincham and Hale area go for that kind of money with some of the country's most head-turning properties on the prestigious streets that are so often sought out by famous faces including footballing stars.

Given the time of year, with the summer transfer market opening very soon, maybe some new Red Devils will be looking to invest in some luxury Cheshire property. A home like this certainly seems fit for possible star arrivals Mason Mount, Victor Osimhen or even Harry Kane.

Jamie Carter, head of residential sales at Savills in Knutsford, says: “It is hard to know where to begin with a house as fabulous as this because it has everything you could possibly want in a home.

"Not only is it situated in a sought-after location that enjoys privacy and wonderful countryside views, it also provides significant living space along with leisure facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room.

"A perfect home for families and entertaining – especially Lord of the Rings fans, who will love the Hobbit House that the current owners had originally built into an existing gully for a space for their grandchildren to enjoy in the garden.”

Marcus Rashford reportedly bought a £1.85 million home in Bowdon and Harry Maguire invested in a £4 million property too in recent years.

Paul Pogba famously lived in Hale when playing at Manchester United and actually struck up a deal with Red Devils winger Antony last year, who now lives in the property.

The Juventus midfielder's home was valued at £3 million and found in Hale Barns, a neighbourhood also believed to be home to City talisman Erling Haaland. Antony gave a tour of the gaffe to ESPN last year after moving in, joking that he still had to change some of the furnishings that still sported Pogba's initials.

Liverpool midfielder Jermaine Pennant also lived in the area. His £3 million tudor home infamously caught fire and is now abandoned. Other stars known to have resided in Hale and Altrincham include Roy Keane, Phil Neville, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Nicky Butt and Dwight Yorke... and, maybe, yourself?
