“As in the past, we have to be careful. I would be careful anyway but after Thursday and their games recently, we are going to prepare the best we can.”

What has Ten Hag said?

Speaking about City and his side’s hopes, United boss Ten Hag has said: “It’s really enjoyable to watch Manchester City, but we have to stop them and make it our game. We want to win that cup. We know it’s going to be tough because we’re playing probably against the best team in the world in this moment, but we proved we can beat them so we have to go again. If we have great belief then anything is possible.

“The rivalry is logical and normal on both sides, but in the end you have to respect each other. Of course, on Saturday we will fight each other. It’s a big game, the FA Cup final. Any game between United and City is huge but when it’s a final it’s special.”
