Warehouse Project reveals line-up for first four opening shows – including Bicep and Honey Dijon

The Warehouse Project, Manchester’s biggest  electronic music event, has announced the line-up for its first four opening shows – and, as ever, it features some of the best DJs, producers and musicians from all over the world, including Bicep, Honey Dijon and the Blessed Madonna.

Warehouse Project takes place at the former train station Mayfield Depot, hosting weekly parties, each curated by leading names in the dance music industry. The season starts in September and culminates in the annual New Year’s Eve party.

The season will kick off on 16 September with the day-and-night Repercussion festival, now in its third year, with acts performing across eight different stages. For the first year ever, Warehouse Project will also be opening two new areas, making use of the former train tracks on the roof of the depot. Some of the other areas include the intimate Star and Garter pub and outdoor Temperance Street party.

The line-ups

Repercussion features a wide variety of musical acts, including Bicep, who will be debuting their brand-new Chroma (AV/DJ Set), Moderat, Kerri Chandler, who will be bringing his rare Reel-To-Reel set-up to Manchester, as well as Jon Hopkins, TSHA (Live), Biig Piig.

The following week, 23 September, is all about drum and bass, with the Worry About Henry x Metropolis event, which will welcome over 100 artists, including Hybrid Minds, Wilkinson, Hedex, Bou. Veteran reggae and dancehall DJ David Rodigan will also be returning.

On Friday 29 September, electronic party crew Kaluki will be celebrating their birthday with a massive showcase of the label’s talent. Expect artists such as Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Hot Since 82, Solardo, Chris Stussy.

Finally, on Saturday 30 September, Mayfield Depot will be hosting the “Welcome to the Warehouse” party, a six-stage takeover of some of the hottest names in electronic music. Some of the big names on the bill include Honey Dijon, The Blessed Madonna, Mall Grab, Job Jobse, Sherelle and Saoirse.

Sam Kandel, Co-Founder of The Warehouse Project said: “Before last year’s WHP run ended, we had already started on our plans for 2023. Now we can’t wait to get back into Depot Mayfield, where we are making significant production changes for this year, all to be revealed when we kick off in September.”

How to get tickets

Presale tickets went on sale at 10am on Thursday 25 May and general sales will open on Friday 26 May.  The full line-up for these four shows can be found on the Warehouse Project website.
