United’s interest in Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby has been revisited after they were initially linked to him last year. Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany reports that the Red Devils are monitoring his situation and their stance on making a move for him will ‘depend on the club’s ‘ownership’.

Diaby has impressed this season, having contributed 14 goals and 11 assists across all competitions, but if he is to move clubs, he won’t come cheap. With two years on his current contract, Leverkusen are said to be wanting €70-80 million (£60-69m) before they consider selling up and for now, it’s not known whether United will advance on a move.

‘No developments’ on Marcel Sabitzer

In a similar story, United are unsure on what they want to do with Marcel Sabitzer, whose loan spell at Old Trafford is set to come to an end next month. Plettenberg has also reported that the Red Devils are interested in signing him permanently, but ‘no developments’ have been made while there is uncertainty over the club’s ownership. However, it’s likely he will be available for €25 million (£21m) or less.

Fiorentina eyeing up Brandon Williams

Fiorentina are said to be a ‘new suitor’ for Brandon Williams, according to TuttoMercatoWeb. The full-back is out of favour at United and has also been sidelined due to injury since returning from his loan spell at Norwich, however, he is still picking up interest ahead of the transfer window.

Fiorentina are reportedly looking to sign Williams on loan, with an option to buy at €5 million (£4.3m). His current deal at United is set to run out next summer.
