Manchester is a melting pot of different cultures and identities, which means it’s hard to define what it really means to be Mancunian.

Every city has its stereotypes and Manchester is no exception. Famous Mancunians have contributed to what non-Mancunians think of us over the years, but we don’t all wear parkas, bucket hats and call each other “ar’kid.”
