Greater Manchester is set to celebrate King Charles III coronation in style with street parties being held across the city-region.

King Charles III’s coronation will take place on Saturday 6 May with a service at Westminster Abbey. For most it will be the first time they have witnessed the coronation of a British monarch – the late Queen Elizabeth II having been crowned nearly 70 years ago. Residents were invited some weeks ago to apply for street parties and road closures, and hundreds of streets have confirmed they will take part in the festivities. Bunting will be in place, food will be shared - and residents will be crossing fingers for a dry day.

Here are all the street parties confirmed so far by local councils, with roads expected to be closed during the party unless otherwise stated.
