Important former Real Madrid figure makes 29-word statement after joining Man Utd

Manchester United have announced the appointment of Juan Eseverri Aznar as their new Global Partnerships Sales Manager, replacing Sean Jefferson who left the club last month.

Eseverri Aznar, who has previously worked as Head of Global Partnerships at Real Madrid and as Head of Partnerships and Business Development at Arowana Sports, will be responsible for managing the relationships between the club and its 25 global partners.

This appointment comes as the club continues to look for a new front-of-shirt partner, following their decision to buy back their rights from TeamViewer earlier this season. United have 25 global partners alongside various territory-specific deals, and their commercial department has become a key revenue source for the club.

While United are still in the process of meeting with investors ahead of a proposed takeover, no imminent commercial deals are expected to be announced.
