Manchester United will be hoping to keep their winning streak alive in the Premier League when they take on Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.

The Reds have a European spot to defend and they will not want to give their top four rivals any sort of foot in the door, despite having more games in-hand than the majority of other clubs in the league.

Prior to their meeting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, United sit fourth place on 59 points, while Spurs sit in sixth on 53 points. While Erik ten Hag’s side will be riding the wave of their current form, the Lilywhites enter the match fresh off the back of a 6-1 demolition at the hands of Newcastle.

Tottenham’s acting head coach Ryan Mason has provided some fitness updates ahead of the weekday clash, including doubt surrounding Hugo Lloris, which could be something of a boost for Erik ten Hag.

What is the latest injury update at Spurs?

Lloris was forced off the pitch against Newcastle and replaced by Fraser Forster. Based on Mason’s comments during his latest press conference, it seems his back-up goalkeeper could be called upon again as uncertainty surrounds Lloris’ fitness levels.

“For the game on Thursday we are still unsure. Obviously had a muscle problem so we are still seeing how that is settling down. Time will tell on that.”

With Lloris potentially missing the fixture, Man United will certainly be looking to make the most of their opponents’ first choice goalkeeper being out of action.

Ben Davies and Clement Lenglet are also currently being assessed. Mason said that he will have a clearer decision on their availability based on their upcoming training sessions.

As well as these doubts, Spurs will be without Rodrigo Bentancur and Emerson Royal, who are both ruled out with knee injuries. Yves Bissouma (ankle/foot injury) and Ryan Sessegnon (thigh injury) are also unavailable.

As per Premier Injuries, Spurs are without four players ahead of Man United, and three are being assessed. You can also find all of ten Hag’s latest fitness news right here.
