Man United injury news: Seven players out and one major doubt following Erik ten Hag update ahead of Spurs

Erik ten Hag has provided the latest news and fitness updates on his team as Manchester United prepare to take on Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening.

The Reds will travel down to North London as they look to protect their position in the top four in the Premier League. As it stands, United are fourth on 59 points but boast three games in-hand over the majority of the other teams.

Spurs currently sit in sixth and will be pushing to try and climb up the table before the season comes to a close.

Ahead of the clash, ten Hag has provided injury updates on his squad, including news on Bruno Fernandes, who came off the pitch with an ankle issue during the FA Cup semi-final penalty shootout against Brighton.

What is the latest Man United injury update?

Ten Hag has admitted there is a “question mark” over the fitness of Fernandes.

“We have to see how Bruno Fernandes is, we don’t know yet. Is a question mark. But I think for the rest, we are quite okay,” he said in his latest press conference.

United run the risk of being without the midfielder for Spurs and they will definitely not have Lisandro Martinez or Raphael Varane either.

In total, the Reds have eight players out injured, including Fernandes who remains a doubt. Several have not been given set return dates as of yet, and Donny van de Beek will not return to action this season.
