Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United with immediate effect, the club has confirmed. Ronaldo has endured a rough season to date after Erik ten Hag made the decision to leave the 37-year-old out of the forefront of his mind when it came to team selection.

Ronaldo has responded with a poor professional attitude that included refusing to come on as a substitute and giving a very controversial interview to Piers Morgan, something which has seen him widely condemned.
