Manchester United ‘learn’ in-demand striker’s bargain price tag amid Serie A target blow

Manchester United are closing in on Europa League football as we head into the final games of the campaign.

Ralf Rangnick’s men are six points ahead of West Ham after their win over Brentford on Monday, though the Hammers do have a game in hand.

The Red Devils face Brighton this weekend, and the Seagulls are likely to be a stern test having beaten Arsenal and Tottenham recently.

Ekitike price

United have been given a boost in their reported bid to land Reims striker Hugo Ekitike.

The 19-year-old is being linked with a whole host of clubs ahead of this summer, despite sitting out with inury since February,

But as United reportedly go to battle with Bayern Munich, Arsenal and others, ESPN are reporting that the forward’s price tag could be as low as £12.7million.

Malacia blow

The Red Devils are said to have been hit with a big blow over the potential signing of Tyrell Malacia.

Malacia has impressed with Feyenoord this season, and he reached the Europa League final with the Dutch club on Thursday night.

According to the Express, the left-back has now begun talks with Olympique Lyon over a potential transfer this summer.

United will need to act quick to get a deal done.

Milinkovic-Savic asking price

United are will have to pay big to land Lazio star Sergej Milinković-Savić this summer, which could see them bow out of the race to seal the deal.

The Serbian has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag likely to strengthen his midfield this summer.

But according to Corriere della Sera’s Rome edition, while a departure is inevitable for Milinkovic-Savic this summer, Lazio will hold out for at least €60million (£51.4million).
