Ten large windows, landmarks and spaces across Manchester city centre have been taken over by artwork made by talented young people from around the city-region. Windows of Youth Creativity: We Made It! launched on 22 October and celebrates youth creativity and the diverse communities across the city-region through art installations and family-friendly events.

The project has been launched by Wild in Art in combination with Manchester City Council and will be running until 27 November as part of the council’s 2022: Our Year scheme. There is an online trail map to download and follow, so you can discover each unique piece of artwork.

As part of the project, a break dance event at Manchester’s new Mayfield Park on Friday (28 October) celebrated the European Breaking Championships taking place in Manchester this November.
