Why Manchester has been named one of the trendiest places to live in 2022

Manchester made it into the top 12 trendiest postcodes but what makes the city so attractive? We spoke to Savills Estate Agents to find out.

Earlier this month, The Times published a list of the 12 trendiest postcodes for people to relocate, with Manchester making it on the list.

As 2021 changed the way in which people work, many individuals have been left with the ability to choose where they live and work from.

This in turn has played a part in helping people decide just exactly what they are looking for in a property, whether that be renting or buying.

Head of residential development sales at Savills in the North, Jamie Adam, revealed that there has been a mix of people who already live in Manchester looking to buy a property, as well as people from outside of the city, looking to relocate.
