Some bursts of sun are expected this morning, getting cloudier as the day goes on but staying dry with highs of up to 19C - off to a good start!

Friday 27 August

Lots of big outdoor events kick off on Friday from Manchester Pride to Bolton Food & Drink Festival - and those attending can expect a cloudy, dry day with light winds and temperatures up to 19C in the day.

Saturday 28 August

The weather is due to pick up on Saturday, with sunny spells, light cloud and minimal risk of rain - and with a peak of 20C, it looks the best day to get the barbecue out.

Sunday 29 August

Another pleasant day expected, highs of 19C and sunny intervals throughout the day. Beer garden, anyone?

Monday 30 August

Looking like a dry day, a little cloudier than the weekend but with peeps of sunshine and creeping up to 18C. Perfect for a stroll in the park.
